Your Experience
Head to the train station in Warsaw, in the early morning, with your driver who will help you with boarding the train to Krakow. From Krakow, head to Auschwitz with your driver cum tour guide. Embark on a 3.5-hour guided group tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau. Visit the Auschwitz concentration camp and take a closer look into the lives of the people who lived and died here. You will get insights into its establishment by the German Nazis in 1940. This camp was turned into a museum after the war. You will find the tragic evidence of the genocide here.
After witnessing Auschwitz you will head to the Birkenau section of the concentration camp where approximately 1.5 million people lived and died tragic deaths. Around 90% of them were Jews, others were Poles, Gypsies, Russians, and prisoners from 28 countries in Europe. After a tour of the Concentration camps, you will go back to Krakow. Here, you will have three hours of free time to see the Main Market Square in Krakow, the biggest Medieval old town square in Europe. In the Old Town, visit Wawel Hill, St. Mary’s Basilica, Krakow Barbican, and Sukiennice, famously known as the Cloth Hall.
After exploring the beautiful old city of Krakow board the train back to Warsaw where you will get picked up at the platform and be transferred from the train station back to your accommodation in Warsaw.
