Begin your hike at the Golgo Plateau
The hike begins on the Golgo plateau, where you start on the mountain flank surrounded by holm oaks and junipers. As you ascend, you get rewarded with panoramic views of Punta Salinas, a hilltop terrace 400 meters above sea level. This terrace offers a breathtaking view of the sea, woods, and cliffs. Walk through the Mediterranean vegetation typical of the area and enjoy the shade and cool breeze that come with it. The hike to Cala Goloritzè is moderate, with some steep terrain.
Enjoy the picturesque views
Take in the spectacular views from here and take plenty of photos. Then, continue your trek to Cala Goloritzè, a natural monument and one of the most scenic beaches in the Gulf of Orosei. Be amazed by Cala Goloritzè, a small but extraordinary beach at the foot of a deep gorge. You will see that the beach, made of eroded limestone, spreads out as a strip of tiny white pebbles. See craggy cliffs dominated by the spire of Punta Goloritzè and limestone rocks that emerge from the sea to form small islets.
Swim and snorkel
Swim in the crystal-clear turquoise water that constantly changes between shades of blue and green. Relax in the sun as the Aguglia di Cala Goloritzè, a rocky pinnacle (143 m above sea level), provides an unforgettable backdrop. Do not miss the opportunity to snorkel, as thousands of fish swim around you as you explore the turquoise waters.
