The island's rich history is reflected in the scenery in the form of picturesque coves and Spanish structures. Flora enthusiasts have the chance to witness both common Mediterranean scrubs and some unusual species, such as the mortar mushroom and the Carpobrotus, also known as Fico degli Ottentotti.
