The National Palace of Pena is just 3 kilometers from here; head over by bus. This was one of the favorite residences of the royal family throughout the 19th century. Stare in awe at a castle filled with an eclectic blend of architectural styles, including Mudejar, Manueline, Gothic, and Baroque.
