Built in the 19th century by Luigi Manini, the castle’s architecture is influenced by Manueline, Neo-Gothic, and mythological ideas.

The National Palace of Pena is just 3 kilometers from here; head over by bus. This was one of the favorite residences of the royal family throughout the 19th century. Stare in awe at a castle filled with an eclectic blend of architectural styles, including Mudejar, Manueline, Gothic, and Baroque.

Charming villages of Sintra

Then, head down to Sintra, where your guide will share with you the best places to grab a bite. Learn a little bit about Portuguese gastronomy and the history of the area. Also, learn about the most important places in Sintra and its secrets and stories.

Lastly, you will set off to Cascais.
