Squares like Heinrichsplatz and Lausitzer Platz will help you to better understand Kreuzberg’s multicultural character.

    Tales from the past

    Since its origin around 1850, many people have left their mark on Kreuberg’s story. On this tour you will get to hear authentic anecdotes of Berlin’s Jack the Ripper, a skirmish between a glamorous wrestling association and combative carpenters, the mother of all street brawls, anarchist musicians, and more. At Görlitzer Park (Görli), a beloved park and recreation area, you will learn about the time when the area used to be a train station.
