The experience with our guide Alessia was great and that she spoke Spanish and English with us the best ! Thank you Alessia ! Ercolano amazing ! And to be able to see in the recreations how it was before is phenomenal to imagine how everything was before the eruption of Vesuvius !

Very interesting experience, it was the first time I used 3D glasses on an excursion, very good. Alessia was my guide in Spanish, her knowledge, sympathy and good predisposition to answer my questions made the two hours pass without us noticing. Constructive criticism, why not start the excursion earlier when the park opens, and avoid the sun and heat at 10:30 am?

The glasses' software generates holograms that blend seamlessly with the current ruins, revealing the original appearance of key temples, homes, and structures.

Historical insights with audio guide

You'll also receive an audio guide in five languages, providing historical insights for each attraction as you explore Herculaneum, transporting you back to the days of the ancient Roman Empire. After the 3D tour, you're free to wander Herculaneum at your leisure. Be sure to visit the remarkably preserved ancient theater, the Suburban Baths, and the intriguing Boat Houses, which are thought to have served as boat storage.

It is recommended to wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes as this tour involves a fair amount of walking.

This is an augmented reality tour, and it doesn't require a traditional tourist guide. The Tour Assistant will greet participants, provide tour equipment, and stay with them throughout the tour.
