Entering the ruins with the on-line purchased tickets was quick, easy, and smooth. Ruins were awesome, as they were on our first visit in 2017.Mónica

Beautiful experience. We visited from Spain. We liked it better than the visit to Pompeii. The excavation staff was very friendly. It is very well restored. In some houses the conservation is so good that you can be transported to ancient Rome and imagine yourself living there. I give a 10/10 to this excursion.View original review in SpanishMohini

It was so easy booking tickets for Herculaneum on Headout! The site itself is well restored giving an interesting insight into life prior to the eruption! It was heartbreaking going down to the previous shoreline and seeing the skeletons of those who were waiting to be rescued! Loved the paintings which are still visible all these years later! The only downside is that it is at least 20 min walk from the station. We struggled to find a bus or taxi to take us to the site.Martin

It is impressive to see in person how deep the city was buried and how far from the sea. That the skeletons were found on the jetties is very impressive. Finding the works of art that decorated the houses, frescoes, mosaics ... statues is a marvel.View original review in SpanishElisabet

It was extraordinary, the guide was very kind, he explained it very well with anecdotes and jokes, punctuality, excellent tour. We could not enter the part of the amphitheater because that day there was dinner of the G20 leaders.View original review in Spanish
