Bath, a city in Somerset County has a long and illustrious history and a wealth of cultural attractions, including stunning examples of Georgian architecture. Several of Jane Austen's books were either written in or have significant connections to the city of Bath, making it a famous tourist destination.

Visit all the places that were important to Bath's most famous inhabitant, Jane Austen. Many of Austen's works, notably "Northanger Abbey" and "Persuasion," take place in or around Bath, where she lived for many years. The Jane Austen Centre, which celebrates the life and writings of the novelist, can also be found in Bath. Explore this fantastic city with the family; there's something here for everyone. You can get on and off at any of the city route's 37 stops. Visit the Roman Baths, a must-see sight, and take in some of Bath's finest architecture along Grand Parade and Manvers Street, in the heart of the city's historic district.
