If you want to see and do everything that matters in Cambridge, this is the best itinerary for you. Discover the River Cam, the Backs, and the old downtown area. Starting in Silver Street East, your journey will take you to several of Cambridge's most famous attractions, provided you have a ticket.
The trip takes you through some of Cambridge's finest streets, where you can get a feel for English culture and people-watch like a local. You will get to see the sights of many of the prestigious universities and institutions that call Cambridge home. Visit Downing Street by disembarking at Stop 2. The bus stop for Jesus Lane is 8. Get off and explore the All Saints Church, a medieval structure. Hills Road is a classic Cambridge street; get out at stop 11 to explore it. Just by traveling past Homerton College, with its striking architecture, one may get a great sense of the local atmosphere and history. Stop off at bus stop 17 to see the Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial Site, where more than 3,000 servicemen and women who participated in the Battle of the Atlantic are laid to rest.
