Beautiful exhibit In addition to the aircraft and the shuttle there are many narratives of wartime moments where the Intrepid was present. Also interesting are all the sections where the political and social situations of the Cold War and Vietnam periods are narratedColin

Resonable priced museum to spend 90mins wandering around a 2nd world war /vietnam aircraft carrier, various planes, the iconic Concorde and a submarine. Added experience of talking to ex-staff who served on the ship. Shame the concorde guided tour was additional cost. Overall I'd recommend if you have time.Sharisa

What I loved about my experience at the Intrepid museum was how large the Intrepid was. What it contained was amazing all of the model. Airplanes and helicopters were such a wonder. The one stand out for me, sailor that explained a lot of what the ship did during the war. I really enjoyed the fact that he had his picture from being in the war. To find out that he was only 19 years old at the time he started was mind blowing. Seeing the Intrepid help me to really realize what the men of our nation fought for so that we could be where we are today. I would have enjoyed a lecture about the intrepid and the personnel that operated it during the war. I didn't realize how small it was on the inside being a big person myself. It was a little difficult to maneuver, but that's on me. I had brought my grandson with me who is on the autism spectrum. He has a wonderful ability to read, and he read all of the information notices for each of the modeled airplanes in a helicopters. He asked me if he could sit in them as he did at the auto show. He had a great time.Michele
