Get set for a cultural treat on this small-group, guided tour of Northern Bali! Start on a high note by watching the Barong Dance, where Balinese culture, entertainment, and religion becomes apparent. Continue your venture through Bali’s artistic side at the Celuk Art Village, where Balinese handicrafts can be bought as souvenirs. Head to the UNESCO-listed site of Tegalalang Rice Terraces, filled with scenic rice paddies, giant swings, coconut trees, and zip wires!
At the Kintamani Geopark, you’ll notice artifacts and exhibits weaving tales of Mount Batur through the years. The holy water temple of Tirta Empul is next on your itinerary, built during the Warmadewa Dynasty (960 AD). Watch as they bathe in holy waters and give colorful offerings to the Gods. Finally, at Goa Gajah, explore rock carvings and ancient relics that reveal myths and legends of Bali! After all the cultural sights on your itinerary have been checked off, unwind in the lush jungle grounds for a bit, before getting dropped off at your hotel.
