In addition to the massage, the experience is much like an onsen, but for your feet. The parlor offers three different kinds of footbaths: Soak your feet in a warm green tea bath and allow yourself to embody the spirit of zen as you take a whiff of the refreshing scent. Or choose the Miya footbath, a seasonal flower footbath which evokes the four seasons of Japan. Or you could even dip your feet in a bucket of crystal salt; Sakaki, and undergo a cleanse of sorts. This footbath is ideal if you’re on pilgrimage to the Kyoto Holy Land.
