Great to reserve seats for each segment of travel The only down side was we could only book tickets 6 times with the machine then had to go to the ticket counter. Had to stand in line for over an hour one time. The machines should allow at least bookings before having to go to the counter

Good value for money in terms of travelling about the region although it was really hard to find somewhere to change the voucher for an actual rail pass.

The pass worked perfectly. Just find the vending machines that exchange the voucher to the pass in Kyoto station first and scan your passport or ask staff for assistance. It does not include Kyoto bus though. Thanks Headout!
