We booked a 2 hour Explor tour of the lunch pads and buildings along with the standard KSC ticket and found the booking process thru Headout simple to do and all worked seamlessly. As for the Explor tour, we learned from it but tying up 2 hours of one's 8 hour visit day to see the launch area wasn't time well spent. An hour would have been better as the many locations at the Space Center demand a lot of time and we came up short and missed a couple locations we would have liked to spend time visiting. Some of course may say otherwise. It all depends on what your priorities are. All this said, we thoroughly enjoyed our full day at KSC and highly recommend it.

Overall our explore tour was great. Our guide George was knowledgeable and funny. Unfortunately We had 2 issues with our experience. 1. We needed a wheelchair for my mom. All the other parks have wheelchairs after security. Unfortunately we went through security and then learned wheelchairs were at the information building. I had to go around security to go to the information building and then wait in the same line that was also getting tickets and planning their journey to get the wheelchair. It ended up taking 30 min to get the wheelchair. Then I had to go through security again and we missed our bus for the explore tour. 2. We were added to another bus on the explore tour. While we were heading out we were delayed a good 15 min for a spaceX equipment delivery. After we got passed them we went to a few locations and then ended up getting caught behind the same spaceX equipment and we're delayed another 30 to 45 min. These delays all added up. We lost about an hour an a half between the wheelchair and spaceX delays. Since the space center closes at 5 it was enough of delay that we missed out on some events and displays.

Very nice tour explore. And the whole part with simulators. Too bad guide only spoke English. Maybe with an audio guide the language problem could be solved.

First and foremost the accessibility assistance is first class! Everyone was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The whole experience was immersion into the past, present and future, a celebration of the NASA personnel and human kind's aspirations and courage. Celebrate our pioneers!

A galactic beginning to stellar moments at KSC

At Kennedy Space Center get ready to explore. The Atlantis exhibit stands prominent, inviting you close enough to sense its historical prowess. Did you know the Atlantis shuttle orbited Earth over 4,800 times? This is followed by a dive into the deep cosmos with an IMAX 3D moon-walking experience that defies gravity in its depiction.

From legacy rockets to lunar wonder

A bus shuttle equips you to journey through the heart of space endeavors and gives you a drive-by view of the Vehicle Assembly Building. The Apollo/Saturn V Center stands as a testament to human ingenuity; beneath the Saturn V, the sheer magnitude of our aspirations becomes evident. Fun tidbit: the Saturn V remains the tallest, heaviest, and most powerful rocket ever produced. Leisurely, stroll through the Rocket Garden, understanding our evolutionary strides in space travel. Don't miss out on the unique opportunity to touch a fragment of the moon, an emblem of our celestial achievements. For those who can't get enough in a day, there's always the option to upgrade for a comprehensive 2-day pass. You can choose to enhance your visit with our Explore Tour upgrade! Led by a knowledgeable space expert, embark on a bus journey, stopping at key locations like the Vehicle Assembly Building and SpaceX launch pads.
