Guide was informative and told us lots of interesting stories. Pointed out flowers like Waratahs that are different to NSW Waratahs. Good timeframe for enjoying the view etc.Judith

Great scenery, and the guide was very nice and a good driver, but at times the commentary was cheesy (which is tolerable), sexist (which is intolerable) and totally negated the fact that Aboriginal people were the first inhabitants of Tasmania (also intolerable). The whole experience was amazing. Accessing the bus was easy, the driver was very knowledgeable and the sights were unforgettable.

The kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer buses can carry 4 mountain bikes on each departure. Reserve your bike spot for $10 when booking, and load it at Brooke Street Pier at least 20 minutes before departure.
