Five Little Christmas Monkeys

By the end of the play, your children will fall in love with counting. This is thanks to the riot of music, numbers, and clowning in a wild monkey puppet zoo! The story follows Sue the Zoo Keeper, who is struggling to get mischievous Little Monkey to bed. In the process, she finds out that numbers are all around us.

The bright, engaging puppets, paired with the music (there's everything from dub reggae to rap and classical ballet!) are bound to enchant the little ones. Once in a while, an unexpected household object transforms into the doctor, who warns, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

The music is composed by Rex Horan of the Neil Cowley Trio, and the colorful puppets are created by award-winning artist and illustrator Frances Barry. Five Little Christmas Monkeys has been developed by early-years numeracy specialists and makes kids curious about numbers and counting via music and fun dialogues.
