Why watch Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Expand your world of the beloved magical world from the original story of Harry Potter. This play takes us years into the future when Harry is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic and his son, Albus, has just started schooling at Hogwarts. Played by Jamie Ballard, we see Harry Potter in a new light as an adult, a husband, and the father of three children. How long does the legend of The Chosen One follow Harry, and is it inherited by his children too?

The story

Watch Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for its exploration of family, the weight of nostalgia, and the uncanny fusion of past and present. Revisit Hogwarts with Albus Potter and ruminate on the stories of where it all started. The play holds the theatre record for the most awarded West End End plays in the history of Olivier Awards. A must-watch for all Harry Potter fans and lovers of its books and films alike, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child tickets are sure to sell out soon!

Everything is fantastic ! The music, the all sounds, special effects. Actors are exceptionnels. Even the theater itself is an experience, we feel in Harry Potter even when entering the theater. It goes very quickly, it's not long at all despite the 5 hours !

Great performances and amazing visual effects. Movement and choreography was also impressive. It was a little difficult to hear dialogue from where we were (upper stalls) and some of the view was obscured on one side. Seats were very cramped for such a long performance. Bar staff were lovely.

The show is a true theatrical spectacle, brilliant trickery, a good story, some great acting and very clever sets, lighting and use of the revolve.

The story , cast and music all extraordinary. It absolutely raised the bar so high for future plays. I like the theater facility, yet wish to have more variety on drinks menu especially for kids.

The story line, the staging, the changes of scene, the dance and the effects were splendid ❤️❤️ just wished for the actors to be more audible, especially being in the balcony area, certain conversations were not understood.
