The Story
The contemporary reinterpretation of King Henry VIII's six wives, transformed into divas, had its modest inception in 2017 during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was conceived by a group of Cambridge students with a deep passion for history. The inspiration for the show initially emerged in a poetry class. In preparation for the production, one member, Marlow, delved into Antonia Fraser's The Six Wives of Henry VIII, while another, Moss, immersed themselves in Lucy Worsley's documentary series, Six Wives, as part of their research.

Really enjoyed 'Six" - a witty, hi-octane performance by a truly savvy cast of Queens! It's a wonderfully written piece thats been imaginatively produced for The Westend. The women are nothing short of magnificent. My eye was particular taken by Catherine Parr (Hannah Lowther). A superb show, and a wonderful night out in Theatreland.Michelle

I took my nan to see SIX and we loved the show. The staff at the theatre were amazing, the noticed that my nan had a walking stick and offered us easy access to our seats with less steps. Made the experience a lot more enjoyable and relaxing for both myself and my Nan. The cast of the show were amazing and such a fun atmosphere.Dan
