Why Watch The 47th
Why Watch The 47th
Following the success of the riotously funny and multi-award-winning King Charles III, Mike Bartlett is back and is just as bitingly funny. His new show The 47th gives a viciously funny glimpse into the underbelly of the US presidential race, the greatest political show on Earth.
Olivier and Tony award-winning actor Bertie Carvel stars as Donald Trump attempting to take back the White House in 2024. Lydia Wilson (Blasted, King Charles III) steps into the shoes of Ivanka Trump, while Obie award-winning actress and American television star Tamara Tunie portrays Kamala Harris. Mike Bartlett reunites with Rupert Goold, the award-winning director of Macbeth and King Charles III.
