Why Watch The Magic Flute
Why Watch The Magic Flute
Mozart’s beloved classic remains as entertaining and spectacular as ever, especially with Olivier award-winning artist Simon McBurney (Mnemonic, A Disappearing Number) returning to direct the critically acclaimed production. Erina Yashima conducts the orchestra and chorus of ENO for the first time. David Stout plays Papageno, while Norman Reinhardt plays Tamino in his ENO debut. They are joined by former ENO Harewood Artist Soraya Mafi, who plays Pamina, and ENO debutante Rainelle Krause, who sings in a blazing coloratura and plays the devious Queen of Night. The Magic Flute will be staged at the London Coliseum for a month’s run early in 2024. Buy The Magic Flute tickets now to watch the show from the best seats in the house.
