Why watch The Tiger Who Came to Tea

The Tiger Who Came to Tea is based on the beloved short story by Judith Kerr. The Olivier Award-nominated production is a delightfully magical tale that features colorful stage and costume designs that bring the vibrant story to life. It has proven to be a favorite among critics and audiences, with children being particularly partial to this show.

The story

Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea when the doorbell rings. One would imagine the striped tiger standing at the threshold would be quite alarming; yet all he seems to want is a bit of tea. And, perhaps, every bit of food he can find in the house.
