Mammoth cave was AMAZING!!..a little bit tricky for kids younger than 4 that's for sure and tricky for the elderly as well because there's a lot of stairs especially on the way out but my mother in law made it even though she did have to stop a lot as she has bad hips. My partner had to carry our little one as it's definitely too much for any kid under 4 but we all really really enjoyed it and the headphones 🎧 were an awesome feature of the tour. We can't wait to attempt the other caves and it really was mind blowing.

Felt there were too many people and the opportunity to look where the Tasmanian tiger was was too quick to take photos as this is the 'main attraction'. In addition to having a lot of people I felt I was unable to move around to take photos. It was a good tour and, as with other tours, there were no small spaces to manoeuvre through/around

Explore 2 of Western Australia’s iconic attractions, Jewel Cave and the Mammoth Cave on the Margaret River, with this budget-friendly combo.

Jewel Cave on Margaret River

Jewel Cave stands out as one of Australia's most intricately adorned subterranean wonders, showcasing a multitude of natural formations, including helictites, cave corals, stalagmites, and pendulites. Prominent among these formations is the massive stalagmite referred to as 'The Karri Forest'. With an expert English guide by your side, learn about the cave and different limestone formations. Furthermore, this cave serves as a repository for the fossilized remains of numerous Tasmanian Tigers, also recognized as Thylacines, whose preservation spans an impressive 3000 years.

Mammoth Cave on Margaret River

Mammoth Cave harbors precious fossils of extinct creatures that once roamed the Earth and gives a glimpse into life on the planet 50,000 years ago. Well-maintained boardwalks and platforms will guide you through the cave's chambers, offering an intimate view of the crystal and limestone formations. With a multilingual audio guide at your disposal, learn about the fossilized jawbone of the long-extinct zygomaturus embedded within the limestone walls. Once you have explored the inside of the cave, you can take a short walk through the forest located above, which is home to diverse flora and fauna.
