It was a fun experience, going up in the cable car and seeing all the skiers skiing. It was beautiful all the way up and especially at the top. We got dizzy and had a hard time breathing once we got off the cable car and started walking around up there. We are in our 50's and healthy and active so I was surprised how bad we felt. We should have drank water on the way up that may have helped. With that being said we still highly recommended! It was a little expensive but I know it costs alot to keep up with maintenance. We had a long line to wait in going up with all the skiers trying to get up too... we felt like a herd of cattle inching our way along... when we came back down there were no lines. My suggestion is to wait until about noon to go up to avoid lines. Also the lines were a little chaotic... tons of people trying to push their way to the front without any order it seemed. If you didn't continue to keep up you would never make it the front of the line. They need to have better organization with the lines when it's busy. It was an experience we will never forget. It was a great way to finish up our 18 day European vacation! We loved the little village of Zermatt and hope to return someday!Michele
