Guide was entertaining. Walked a bit fast for us. Thought we were going to return to our meting point after the tour was over. Had to hunt for a taxi to get back to our starting point. Had no idea how to do this or where to look.

Our guide Maria was extremely knowledgeable, not just about the sights we saw but also about the history of Milan generally. Not only did we see The Last Supper and the Duomo but also many other interesting aspects of Milan. The ticketing experience was very straightforward. This tour is well worth the expense, particularly on your first day in Milan. Then you can investigate more later.

Ticketing experience was easy to book but then I was repeatedly emailed twice and then phoned twice for our ID details even though I sent them immediately at the first ask. This was slightly disconcerting and I was worried that HeadOut was looking for an excuse to cancel our trip, but it turned out all my emails had gone into Headout's junk mailbox and no one realised! So it was absolutely not my fault but did add to the stress . The tour guide Massimo was excellent and extremely knowledgeable and led a very good tour. The only trouble was that too many people had been booked on the tour (25?). This made the group unwieldy for walking round busy Milan and we wasted a fair amount of time waiting for people. Tour was still very enjoyable and gave us a great introduction to the Duomo, La Scala and the Last Supper and worth the price

The tour runs in two parts: 9:30am–12:30pm (morning) and 2:00pm–3:30pm (afternoon).
Free time for lunch is approximately 12:30pm–2:00pm.
Last Supper Museum remains closed on Mondays.
