Mt. Fuji and the Fuji Five Lakes
Kickstart your adventurous day away from the bustling Tokyo cityscape with a convenient pick-up at either JR Marunouchi, Tokyo Station or SMBC Bank, Shinjuku-Nishiguchi. Your expert guide, fluent in English, will take you to Mt. Fuji area. As the journey unfolds, you'll ascend to the mountain's 5th station, each turn revealing a different aspect of Fuji's majestic beauty. Whether it’s a blushing cherry blossom spectacle or a vibrant autumn foliage display, the mountain's seasonal transformations are sure to captivate you.
Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka
Post the mountain's visual treat, the tour heads to Lake Kawaguchi, the largest of the renowned Fuji Five Lakes. Known for its mirror-like water reflecting an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji, the lake is a photographer's paradise. Boat rides, cultural sites, and scenic walks along the shore, subtly narrate the tales of the lake's deep-rooted heritage. The tour's final stop is at the highest of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Yamanaka. The lake, also known as 'Swan Lake', offers you a dip into natural hot springs while you bask in the picturesque views of Mt. Fuji and the distant Mt. Hakone. Interestingly, the name 'Swan Lake' originates from the swans seeking warmth during the colder months. The winter also witnesses the awe-inspiring 'Swan Lake' ice sculpture festival, a sight that’s not to be missed. The entire journey is made comfortable and hassle-free with air-conditioned transport, ensuring an unforgettable exploration of Japan's scenic and cultural marvels.
