The Show
The show includes a boxing ring, giving you the feeling of being seated for an actual Muay Thai fight. You will learn about the evolution of Muay Thai over the centuries. The show consists of 5 acts along with a gratifying epilogue to conclude the show. The first act involves a fight between a mysterious man and three top fighters of a village. It takes inspiration from the “Tiger King,” who was the 30th King during the Ayutthaya period and has been hailed as the father of Thai boxing. The second act focuses on Nai Khanom Tom, a warrior whose boxing skill was unmatched. The third act focuses on the events that took place after the collapse of Ayutthaya. You will see a warrior lead an army to defend the city against the enemy. One sword of the warrior is broken during the fight, and he is forced to use his body as a shield and weapon until something can change the narrative. What will be the ultimate fate of this brave warrior?
Act 4 is more focused on the techniques of Muay Thai, some of which have not been performed in more than a century since it is considered too dangerous. The well-trained fighters demonstrate 8 different positions, and the complexity and difficulty of these moves are sure to leave you astounded. Act 5 is set in modern times, and a man rescues his love from the hands of kidnappers using his Muay Thai prowess. A combination of tricking, free running, and Muay Thai makes for a stunning performance. The athleticism of the performers is incredible to witness. Finally, the show concludes with the tenets of Muay Thai boxing; which are respect for teachers, honoring the country and sacrifice for family.
