    Getting started

    Start your self-guided island adventure by validating your pass at any ACTV machine or ticket counter in Venice. Once activated, the pass gives you unlimited access to public waterbuses (vaporettos) and land buses within the selected duration. Use Google Maps or Moovit to check live schedules and hop on the next boat when you're ready.

    What to expect

    Murano

    Famous for its centuries-old glass-blowing tradition, Murano invites you to wander canals lined with working studios and artisan shops. Watch glassmakers shape molten glass into delicate forms—some studios even offer free demonstrations.

    What’s not allowed

    • Oversized luggage exceeding a total of 150 cm in dimensions
    • Use of the pass on Alilaguna lines, Casinò route, or routes 16, 19, and 21

    Accessibility

    • Most vaporetto lines and stops are accessible; check ACTV maps for details
    • Buses in Mestre and Marghera are generally accessible to wheelchair users

    • Pass validity starts from first activation and must be tapped each boarding
    • Children under 6 years travel free with a paying adult
    • On select dates (Apr 18–Jul 27, 2025), Venice Access Fee may apply
    • You can activate the pass on any day, regardless of purchase date
