The gardens are breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to have a guided tour (free of charge) with a guide who was passionate about the life of this chateau.
We also appreciated the warmth and humanity that this chateau exudes🥰🥰

The queue-breaking tickets are really effective, and in some cases less expensive than at the station, but there's a small downside: sometimes the scanners don't work, so you have to go back to the ticket office to check, which wastes time.

Visiting the castles without any hassles once we got there was good. Showed my ticket and was let in. I enjoy visiting places on my own pace. The tickets provided me with that. The castles are beautiful!

Both Chateaux were fabulous. Can't recommend visiting them more. Just leave a bough time. Ticketing was quick and easy, although at Chenanceau we had to see the ticketing booth rather than go straight through. Seemed to be a recent change in the process. Easy enough to do at that time of year.
