The story
Faded silent film star Norma Desmond, living in a faded Hollywood mansion, clings to the ghosts of her glamorous past. When struggling writer Joe Gillis enters her world, Norma sees him as her ticket back to the top. Blinded by the luxury she offers, Joe gets sucked into her delusional world. As he writes her fantasy script, the lines blur between Norma's faded reality and her desperate dream of a comeback. Will Joe be the key to her return, or will Norma's obsession destroy them?
