So sweet and fresh was this fruit, that in a time when fresh fruit was rare, the pineapple instantly laid claim to all hearts. It has been highly regarded through history as the fruit of the Kings. And rightfully so, what with its crowned and cheerful appearance. Okinawa’s love for pineapples is as deep-rooted as their love for fish. The park offers a tropical vibe focusing on all things pineapple. Hop aboard a pineapple cart and ride along pineapple fields and tropical gardens. The adjacent souvenir shop offers visitors the chance to sample pineapple products, ranging from wines, juices, cakes, chocolates, and more. Visit a winery that exclusively deals with pineapple drinks and sample the famous “Lagrima Del Sol”, which is Spanish for “Tears of the Sun.” That’s not all, for your entertainment, the staff will present an unconventional performance called the Pappa Dance. If you want to experience the sweet taste of pineapples in all their glory, upgrade your ticket to include a delicious Pineapple Soft ice cream. Don’t forget to check out the many tropical souvenirs in all forms of pineapple!
