The construction of the then Saint Engracia and currently the National Pantheon was started towards the end of the 16th century and was completed 350 years later in the 20th century. The monument stands as a unique testimony to the Portuguese style of Baroque art that stands on a hill overlooking the river Tagus. Head on to the terrace and enjoy panoramic views of the city and its river from a height of 80 meters.
