Choose to spend a day, or two separate days out in nature, seeing exotic, endangered, and amazing flora and wildlife species in the middle of New York with this combo ticket.
New York Botanical Garden
The New York Botanical Garden offers 250 acres of natural beauty and a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. With 50 unique gardens, landscapes, and serene water features, it’s a haven for nature lovers. You can also visit seasonal exhibits when you’re at the garden, like the Holiday Train Show, and see model trains journeying through miniature versions of iconic NY landmarks. For a more informational and easier trip across the space, you can hop on the narrated tram tour that covers the garden in approximately 30 minutes. You can learn more about its diverse flora and special attractions and make the most of your experience.
Bronx Zoo
Did you know the Bronx Zoo is a pioneer in efforts towards the conservation of endangered wildlife species across the world? So when you visit the zoo, you’re also participating in an important historical movement. It is also the largest urban zoo in the country, spread over 265 acres, and home to nearly 700 species of animals. You can see diverse habitats like the Congo Gorilla Forest, where you can witness gorillas' social interactions. If you take the narrated Wild Asia Monorail tour (and we recommend you do), you’ll see stunning views of Asian animal species like elephants and red pandas. You can see tigers at Tiger Mountain and snow leopards in the Himalayan Highlands. The zoo also has many seasonal exhibits and experiences. You can feed Magellanic penguins and sea lions or let budgies land near you at Budgie Landing anytime from April to October. And if you’re with kids who love some adventure, you can take the Nature Trek with engaging climbing challenges and obstacle courses.
