If you are using a reduced-price ticket, bring an ID or student card for verification.

Starting January 1, 2025, entry with bags and luggage through the reserved line is prohibited.
Dress modestly; sleeveless shirts, shorts, miniskirts, and hats are not allowed inside the basilica.
Consumption of food and beverages is not permitted within the basilica premises.

The guided tour is not available for individuals with mobility difficulties.
The Basilicas has a designated entrance for people with disabilities located in Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore, equipped with ramps for easy access. Accessible toilets are available within the basilica.

The tour is NOT available for children under the age of 7 years & Kids under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The guided tour lasts approximately 50 minutes. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time at the entrance of the basilica.
Reservations can be modified up to 24 hours before the tour date, but changes to participant numbers are not allowed.
Be prepared for potential crowding during peak times, especially during special events or the Jubilee Year.
