The Wolves

The Wolves is a sweet, satisfying tale that focuses on the experiences of high school girls during their daily afternoon soccer warm ups. Sarah DeLappe’s fascinating story is captured masterfully on stage by director Lila Neugebauer and a winning young cast.

The Story

A suburban, idyllic setting. 9 girls who are all part of the school’s soccer team. Intense discussions on everything from sanitary pads, menstrual cycles and the coach’s hangover, to school buses of years past, Harry Potter, the opposing team’s jerseys and Vietnam. From the safety of their literal suburban stretch circle, the team ponders big questions and partakes in tiny battles with all the wit and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors..
