The seating arrangements on the boat were really uncomfortable. The seats weren't built in, they were just ordinary seats you might find in a crappy cafe. I was sitting one away from the window and my seat was on a lean toward the window - like the floor was on a slight lean. This left me with a aching side whilst unconciously trying to keep myself straight. The commentary was quite good in that we learnt some interesting facts, but you had to be on the correct side of the boat to see what was being spoken about, if not, it became boring. It would have been better if those things could have been pointed out once the boat was turned around to give the other side of the boat the opportunity to see which things were being spoken about. I wouldn't recommend this particular cruise to other friends heading to Melbourne.

Boat is in ordinary condition, old, poorly maintained. We are locals and we're embarrassed for international visitors to see this old seedy craft and hear the sexist commentary from the 1970's in our capital city on our premier waterway. Also query how in an emergency up to 150 passengers (yes there were 150 loose chairs on the inside deck) could exit through only a door ar each end, also how 150 life jackets could be distributed from what appeared to be only one cupboard at the back of the boat. (There may be more than one cupboard but I wouldn't know because there was no safety briefing).
