Van Franz Josef: Landschappelijke helikoptervlucht met sneeuwlanding

Er waren wegafsluitingen en we zouden niet op tijd bij Franz Josef zijn. We belden hen en ze verschoven onze reis naar de volgende dag. Gelukkig was er nog een plekje vrij. Het is aan te raden om de rit te boeken voor de dag dat je Franz Josef bereikt zodat je wat flexibiliteit hebt in geval van problemen. Vlotte check-in en een onvergetelijke reis. We namen 1 gletsjerrit van 20 minuten. De piloot was uitstekend en nam foto's voor ons. We stopten ruim 7 minuten ondanks dat het een stop van 2 minuten zou zijn. Zeker het geld waard.

De Franz Josef / Fox Glacier helikoptervlucht was eerlijk gezegd de beste ervaring van onze vakantie van 4 weken. De boeking was gemakkelijk en snel bevestigd, de locatie was gemakkelijk te vinden, het inboeken en het veiligheidsgesprek waren plezierig, alles stroomde gewoon door, alle adviseurs waren goed geïnformeerd en geruststellend, de piloot was fenomenaal en maakte deze hele ervaring echt geweldig. Het landschap is echt adembenemend mooi - zoals zoveel in NZ. Maar deze reis was zo vernederend en vredig, het was echt de kers op de taart ♥️

De meest geweldige ervaring die ik ooit heb gehad! Een heldere hemel en een geweldig uitzicht. We deden de 20 min. met sneeuwlanding en het was elke minuut waard!

Het landschap was niet te vergelijken. Ik mocht een sneeuwbal naar mijn man gooien. Onze piloot Olivia zat vol goede informatie en bestuurde de heli heel soepel. Een van mijn favoriete dingen die ik in NZ heb gedaan

Een ongelooflijke ervaring. We hadden het geluk dat het weer perfect was en de lucht prachtig blauw. Prachtige herinneringen met onze 2 baby's voor wie de rit gratis was. Heel erg bedankt!

Booked the 40 mins helicopter flight with glacier landing. However the weather was terrible and had given up hope of the flight being able to go ahead. However there was a small window in which the weather improved enough for a shorter scenic helicopter flight to take place, but visibility wasn't good enough for a landing on the glacier. Staff refunded the difference between the cost of the trips. Everybody was very friendly and the views were great despite the poor weather. Well worth the trip.

Since our Heli Hiking trip was cancelled the day before for rain, we took a short flight up and over Franz Josef Glacier, and landed in the snow for seven minutes. It was a beautiful experience, and gives you another perspective of this famous glacier. So glad we were able to book it.

I booked by flight 1 day out and was pretty nervous I wouldn't get to fly because of the weather. I went in to see and the team there were so caring about having to tell me unfortunately I couldn't fly. They went above and beyond to try and reschedule me during the short time I was there. Even moving my departure (from Franz Josef to Fox) to be closer to my accommodation! The next day I woke up to clear skies and was able to fly! Man they didn't disappoint!! I was fortunate to get the front seat - the views were amazing! Flying was fantastic and landing on the snow just an amazing experience :) Still have a smile talking about it today! From communication to the adventure these guys were fantastic and would recommend this company to everyone!

The flight was very impressive and wonderful!! Definitely worth it! I'd like to have a bit longer flight time. You are flying about 10-15 minutes and stay at the glacier for about 15-20 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the nature. If you have the money, do it!

Unforgettable experience. Vicky and Belinda were brilliant, professional and fun, absolutely top service. Dion the pilot, every bit as professional and plenty of great banter. Can't recommend enough.

Awesome flight, Tim was the pilot full of knowledge about the surroundings and great banter had up on the snow. Amy took us through the safety producer and walked us to the pads really lovley girl. Made us all feel very relaxed and excited for what was ahead of us 馃槉 We spoke to Vicky in the office and she sorted us out with the flight in the time frame we needed with no issues at all. All and all was and exceptional experience. Would highly recommend jumping on one of these flights.

One of the best experiences of our whole trip. We were five in all plus the pilot who gave us all the information we needed. Set down on the mountain and played snowballs and had photos. Would recommend it to everyone

Absolutely amazing!! It is hard to describe the feeling of being surrounded by pure white snow. Defo take your sun glasses it is so bright! The co-ordinators are fantastic. Everyone is weighed due to weight allowance for the helicopter. A super 'must do' experience and well worth the money especially if you can manage to get a 'Book Me'

What an amazing experience. We had originally booked the twin glaciers but due to high winds had to change. Who cares!! We had an amazing experience and landed on the ice. Awesome!!

De wandeling rond de gletsjer was fantastisch.
