Het was heel gemakkelijk om deze ervaring te boeken en om eerlijk te zijn heb ik ervan genoten en vond ik het boeiender dan een bezoek aan het paleis van de Doges, de klokkentoren van San Marco of de basiliek van San Marco, omdat het iets totaal anders was om te doen. Onze gids was erg vriendelijk en beantwoordde al onze vragen en zorgde ervoor dat iedereen in de groep aan bod kwam. We hadden een aantal kleine kinderen in onze groep die een beetje bang werden van sommige verhalen, maar we spraken allemaal met de kinderen om ervoor te zorgen dat ze in orde waren. Toen we allemaal samenkwamen op de ontmoetingsplaats werden we opgesplitst in verschillende groepen, we waren allemaal Engels in onze groep wat een goed idee was omdat we allemaal met elkaar spraken en vrienden maakten. Al met al zou ik je aanraden om deze excursie te boeken, want we hebben veel meer geleerd over de legendes van Venetië die ik in geen enkele gids had gevonden.

I thought that a visit to the cripts was included or some areas underground. The photos used for the advertising were nothing like the actual tour. The tour was ok but our guide could have been more animated and enthusiastic. Overall the tour should have been much cheaper for what was included.

Everything was clearly explained and worked as promised

You will be taken on a tour through one of Venice’s forgotten and spooky places. The tour will be done in the light of a candle, adding to the mystery. Your guide will explain the significance of the catacombs, and how they are considered a place of worship and reverence. You will discover a number of frescoes depicting spiritual images as you explore some of its most eerie and darkest corners. Soon, you will find yourself surrounded by skulls and a skeleton in a tiny alcove, seemingly abandoned and far away from being accessible by ordinary people.

You will explore some of the hidden places in Venice, and hear chilling stories and mysteries surrounding these areas. Tales of ghosts, curses, revenge, and apparitions from the guide promise to keep you thoroughly attentive and entertained!

Important Information

A minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 15 people are allowed per booking.

The tour will also take place in case of rain, so please bring along a raincoat in case of bad weather. In the case of exceptionally high tide, the tour may be canceled and a refund will be provided

Please wear comfortable shoes since there will be a significant amount of walking during the tour
