This musical from Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire with Jeanine Tesori as the music composer, Jessica Stone as the director, and choreography by Danny Mefford make Kimberly Akimbo an outstanding show. The Story
Kimberly, portrayed by the Tony Award-winning Victoria Clark, stands on the brink of her 16th birthday, having recently relocated with her family to a quiet suburb in New Jersey. In this uproariously funny yet profoundly moving production, Kim must navigate through the complexities of her family's dysfunction, grapple with a rare genetic condition, experience her first crush, and even face the looming possibility of criminal charges. Despite the challenges she faces, Kim's unyielding optimism fuels her determination to discover happiness against all odds and embark on an extraordinary adventure.
