Huset og møblene fascinerte oss. Luksusen fra den tiden som du vakkert pleide, restaurerte og bevarte fortryllet oss. Ved inngangen ble vi litt overrasket over at jenta som ledet gruppen klokka 11:00 der vi var, først glemte oss, og senere, halvveis gjennom kortfilmen, som vises som en introduksjon til historien om Amatller-familien, innså at enhetene våre og hodetelefonene hun ikke aktiverte. Ellers er inntrykkene av selve bygningen og luksusen av kunst, som er vevd inn i alle elementene i Amatller-familiens boareal, fantastiske.Tom

A Quick History
One of the most recognizable structures in the city, Casa Amatller was created employing modernism, an art nouveau design movement that originated in Catalonia. The house features four upper stories, a garden, and a ground floor that has been turned into a museum. The structure has 3 primary elements that reflect Amatller's passions – chocolate, vintage glassware, and photography.
What's in Store
Enter the apartments that Amatller and his daughter Teresa formerly called home by ascending the grand staircase at the entrance. Don't forget to look up as you enter and admire the stained-glass skylight! Enjoy the Romanesque altarpiece, a Bartolomé Bermejo Hispanic-Flemish table, and Baroque and Ramón Casas paintings. You'll also get a chance to see other cultural items like photos by Rogent, Lalique jewelry by Lalique, and glass collections with historical significance.
