Å besøke Pompeii var en fantastisk opplevelse! Alt gikk som smurt, selv om det som forventet var ganske fullt av turister. Togturen fra Napoli var imidlertid minneverdig - en trekkspiller spilte tradisjonell italiensk musikk, og passasjerene klappet med. Jeg er ikke sikker på om dette skjer hele tiden, men det ga turen en fin touch. Napoli er en livlig by med deilig mat og mye å se. Herculaneum er, som alle sa til oss, fantastisk. Pompeii er så stort og travelt at det er ganske slitsomt. Men det var vel verdt det. Vi er fra Storbritannia, og vi har romerske levninger hjemme, men ingenting som dette. Herculaneum er lett tilgjengelig, og antikvariet er flott. Det er steder hvor man kan sitte og bare se på det hele, mens Pompeii er mer fullspekket. Billettene fungerte bra.
