Det er enkelt å kjøpe billetter, og jeg anbefaler ikke å gå sammen med en gruppe slik at du ikke blir stresset gjennom, vi gikk alene og likte virkelig å ta oss god tid til å ta bilder og nyte det hele.

Opplevelsen var eksepsjonell når det gjelder Quinta da Regaleira, den vakre delen av hagen som skal oppdages med grottene som prikken over i-en og den eventyrlige atmosfæren. På den annen side var besøket i Pena-palasset mindre vakkert. Palasset er veldig vakkert å fotografere på utsiden, men jeg likte ikke måten besøket inne i palasset er organisert på: Det er en evig og uendelig lang kø for å se to rom, og du kan ikke se dem godt fordi du må fortsette å gå fordi det er så mange mennesker.

Alt var fantastisk og raskt. Vi ble litt utregnede i køen for å komme inn, men alt var veldig godt organisert. Jeg er glad vi dro dit. Det tar ikke så lang tid å komme seg fra parkeringsplassen til inngangen til slottet.

Palasset var fantastisk med en så flott utsikt. Bestillingen på Headout var rask og enkel, og vi hadde de elektroniske billettene på telefonen i stedet for å stå i kø for å få billetter på slottet.

It is an architectural marvel and you’ll be enchanted by the stunning views of Lisbon from the second-highest vantage point on the Sintra Hills. You will come across detailed interiors influenced by Middle Eastern & baroque European cultures. The state rooms have been carefully restored to their original state as they were in 1910 to give you the real feel of the era of Romanticism. Many of the original fittings still remain in the Palace. You can end your tour by exploring the lush park of Pena, full of winding paths, pavilions, ponds, magical fountains, statues & lovely exotic plants spanning 85 hectares. You can also upgrade your ticket to include convenient round-trip transportation between the main entrance of the Park and the Palace.

The National Palace and Gardens of Queluz dates back to the 18-century and has been home to generations of Portuguese Royal Family. Bathe in the beauty and grandeur of this lavish castle as you walk its richly decorated halls & rooms. It is often referred to as “Portuguese Versailles” due to its brilliance and architectural exuberance. It is a truly breathtaking experience and you can imagine a time of regal balls and stately dinners that took place in the majestic interiors of the Palace. The Throne Room is adorned with gold carvings, ornate mirrors and large paintings, giving you a sense of how the Portuguese royals used to live back in the day. The surrounding gardens of the royal residence, abundant with exotic vegetation & mystical waterfalls, are eagerly waiting to be discovered by you.
