Bra, litt uorganisert og mye bortkastet tid. Men det var bra. Jeg gikk av på egen hånd for å utforske, fordi historien kan googles eller leses i biblioteket, de fleste har allerede lest og hørt, så kom for å SE det . Turguiden må fokusere på å få folk inn, ta dem med til forskjellige bibelske statuser, og områder, for bilder. Dette er ikke en historietime, vi hadde bare 1-2 timer, men vår turguide brukte 40 minutter på å fortelle oss historier og historie utenfor og på døren, mens jeg applauderer henne for hennes kunnskap, men dette er ikke en historietime, 6 av oss hadde andre turer planlagt rett etterpå, så vi forlot turen midtveis for å utforske basilikaen på egen hånd, inkludert gravområdene under.

Explore with an official guide

Along the way, your guide will provide insights into the history and symbolism of the artwork and architecture, helping you to understand the significance of what you're seeing. You may also have the opportunity to climb to the top of the dome, which offers breathtaking views of Vatican City and the surrounding area.

Strict dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered for all guests.

Mobile phones must remain on silent mode inside the Basilica.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. The right semicircle of Saint Peter’s Square is equipped with ramp access into the Basilica. For any special requirements, contact accoglienza@fsp.va in advance.

Sign language guided tours are available at the Basilica. This service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance at the following email address: visiteguidate@fsp.va.
