Veldig godt skiltet, folkene i parken gir deg råd om løypene og alt er godt organisert. Panoramabuss, båt. Jeg gikk H-ruten på 4 timer, da jeg trodde jeg ikke ville ha tid, men 6 timer er å ta seg god tid, så det er ingen grunn til å skynde seg. Piknikbord er også tilgjengelig. Virkelig verdt å gjøre og veldig godt organisert og skiltet. Jeg vil gjøre det igjen hvis jeg noen gang får sjansen.

NP er vakkert 🤩 . Gangbroene er vanskelige for hunder å gå på fordi det er så store mellomrom mellom plankene at potene deres setter seg fast. Jo større poter, jo tryggere.

Flott sted, flott tid, du får en øye på hele veien, det er utallige fossefall, og langs innsjøene føler du deg som om du er i Canada. Vi dro i april og hadde litt solskinn, noe som var fint fordi det er ganske mye å gå.

Step into Croatia’s Largest National Park

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Plitvice Lakes National Park greets you with a symphony of colors—turquoise, emerald, and deep blue—reflecting in the crystal-clear lakes. Wooden footbridges and pathways wind through the lush forests, guiding you on an enchanting exploration. You begin your journey taking in the breathtaking waterfalls that cascade down moss-covered cliffs. Watch the Great Waterfall, Veliki Sla, plunging down a height of 78 meters, and go for a tranquil boat ride on the largest lake of the park, the Kozjak. A panoramic train ride will take you through the verdant forests, where you can catch sight of deer herds and bears thriving in nature.

A Day amid Nature's Best

Vibrant orchids peek through the foliage carpeting the park in over 1200 plant species. Continue your adventure, following the hiking trails that lead deeper into the park. You have the option to choose between the north entrance, known as Plitvice lakes entrance 1, located just above the Lower Lakes, while the south entrance, Plitvice lakes entrance 2, is next to the Upper Lakes. With the northern entrance, you get to explore the lakes Milanovac, Gavanovac, Kaluđerovac, and Novakovića Brod of Donji Jezera Canyon and the 12 lakes of Gornja Jezera if you opt for the southern entrance.

Important Information

Pets are allowed in the park but must remain on a leash.

Luggage storage facility is available at respective entrances.

Restrictions

Note that the following are not allowed during this experience: Photography for commercial purposes, cycling, and drones.

The park is not entirely wheelchair accessible.
