Vi hadde en endring i planene på grunn av det kalde og våte været, og bestemte oss for å besøke akvariet. Vi er så glade for at vi fikk oppleve dette fantastiske stedet. I anmeldelsene står det at det er ganske lite, men vi syntes det var en god størrelse, og utformingen av rommene og utstillingene var enestående. Vi ble helt betatt av utstillingene, og vi ble betatt av pingvinene og selene. Kafeen hadde morsomme temadrikker og snacks som vi alle satte pris på. Besøket var en hit for oss alle - foreldre og 10- og 13-åringer. Absolutt verdt et besøk!

Jeg elsket de naturlige vannlandskapene og mange av utstillingene, men selutstillingen virket altfor liten, og dyrene virket stresset. Da vi var der, var det en liten jente som ertet en av selene med en leke i lang tid, og personalet gjorde ingenting med det.

Det er et veldig fint lite akvarium å besøke og jeg kan anbefale det på det varmeste!!! Min lille elsket det absolutt, og vi gikk frem og tilbake flere ganger. Tommelen opp for headout-appen/nettsiden for enkel og grei bestillingsprosess👍!!!!

Over 10,000 sea animals

The Sumida Aquarium is one of the main attractions of the Tokyo Skytree Town, a modern entertainment complex. Spread over 2 floors, it is home to over 10,000 sea creatures and is the first aquarium in the Kanto region to use only artificial seawater.

Drop by all the exhibits

An exciting and educational experience, you will see schools of colorful fish, numerous jellyfish floating in tanks and beautiful coral reefs. At the Aqua gallery, learn about the ecology of sea creatures as you explore tanks arranged like paintings in an art museum.

A highlight of your visit is the aquarium’s 350-thousand-liter tank, the largest open indoor tank in Japan. With clear glass walls and nothing to obstruct your view, you can watch penguins playfully splash about and see fur seals glide through the water.
