Seamless activation
- Your Eurail Pass is fully mobile! Activate it in the Rail Planner App using the Pass Number from your confirmation email.
- After activation, add your journey to get a QR code ticket in the app that must be presented to the inspectors at the station.
- Don’t forget to reserve seats for trains that require bookings—do it early via the Rail Planner app!
What's not allowed
- This pass cannot be sold or used by residents of Europe, the Russian Federation, and Turkey.
Additional information
- The pass isn't valid in your country of residence, except for two journeys -- one to leave and one to return.
- Seat/bed reservations for mandatory trains are an extra cost and may be limited, so booking in advance via the Rail Planner app or at the station is recommended.
- The passes are valid for 15, 22 days, 1, 2 or 3 months continuously after activation. You can use your pass to travel every day within that period.
- The pass must be activated through the Rail Planner App within 11 months after the date of purchase and before the first travel.
