I bought the ticket 2 minutes before entering the Castle which avoided the massive queue of people, and walked straight in. The online process Wes really quick and easy.Aaron

It was great! Had so many inclusions ! We enjoyed the experiences more than anything! Got to go to a Giant ferris wheel, ride on the Osaka metro. Enjoyed the Osaka castle. There were probably few other things I'm sure we missed. Wish it had a little more specifics about what it included especially with the activities and Trains.. for example did you know it doesn't include the entirety of the nankai line? Especially out to izumisano. More details on what's included would be great so people who like to be prepared know what they're in for and can plan and accommodate.Tyler

The Osaka Castle was awesome! Lots of cool artifacts and cool history to learn about. It was definitely worth getting the tickets online. We just bought them on the walk up.Ryan

I was hoping the inside of the castle would have some more preserved sections of the real castle. Instead the entire indoor floors were turned into museum like rooms with almost nothing left of the original interior. Seems the outside was the only thing kept in its original design. Had I known that I would have never bothered buying a ticket.Tran

Really a "must have" in Osaka. The garden is full of cherry blossoms and the castle is also beautiful. We bought tickets online, no need to queue and wait on site. It's worth booking in advance otherwise the place is overcrowdedView original review in German
Taking inspiration from the Taisho period, this attraction is an important historical heritage site, built in Ancient Japan. Explore Osaka Castle’s historical grounds at your own time and pace. This experience is one that shouldn’t be missed while in Osaka. In 1583, Hideyoshi Toyotomi began trying to build the Osaka Castle on the site of Ishiyama Hongaji, which was suitable to inhabit a ruler.
After the death of Hideyoshi’s death, the regime moved to the Tokugawa family and the Osaka Castle fell in 1615 at Osaka Natsunokin. This heritage site was then rebuilt under the order of the second Shogun Hidetada Tokugawa, which took around 10 years. This site played a major role as the base of the Western government for the Shogun. Featuring a spectacular light-up and Japanese historical treasures, this Osaka Castle illumination displays over 3 million colorful LED lights on a 300cm long picture scroll. Don’t miss this 430-year-old edifice in Osaka.
