Your Experience

Take a break from the bustle of Osaka and explore the historic sites and ancient temples in Kyoto on this full-day guided tour. Once you leave Osaka, you’ll be welcomed in Kyoto by the delicate pink cherry blossoms of Arashiyama, a district famed for its breathtaking mountain scenery. Stroll through the bamboo grove here and admire the towering stalks of green bamboo that seem to reach into the sky.

Next, if you have selected it as an option, you will enjoy a buffet or set lunch before hopping on the Randen for a scenic tram ride to Shijo-Omiya. Walk back in time to the UNESCO site of Todai-ji and get up close to the famed Daibutsu Buddha, one of the largest bronze figures in the world. Your guide will offer you interesting facts, myths and legends about the place as you explore the grounds of this ancient imperial city.

Continue onwards to Nara Park, the home of over 1,000 freely roaming tame deer. With plenty of stalls selling deer food, you can have a go at feeding them yourself! End your day with a visit to Kobe Mosaic, a mall overlooking Kobe Port on the ocean side of Harborland. Spend your time here going souvenir shopping, or trying out gourmet dishes. Later, take a walk around the port while feeling the sea breeze against you.
