Your experience
Your experience
Barcelona, home to Antoni Gaudí, is a city of creativity. If you wish to tickle your mind and question what you see, head to the Paradox Museum, known for altering perception.
Explore the Concept of Paradoxes
Explore over 70 interactive, entertaining, and educational paradoxes. Discover how visual and tactile stimuli deceive the brain and the senses. Question your understanding of the world surrounding you and think twice about what you perceive as absolute truths. Challenge your preconceptions of reality and be open to diverse actualities. The exhibit descriptions clarify "what to do" and "what's going on."
Be Illusioned at Popular Exhibits
Lose your way through a maze of mirrors and infinite reflections of yourself in the Hall of Infinite Mirrors. Try walking straight inside the Paradox Tunnel, which disrupts your sense of gravitational direction. Let angles create optical illusions and alter your perspective in the Forced Perspective Room. Defy gravity and hang upside down from the ceiling inside the Paradox Reversed Room. Walk through marked photo points to place yourself at the best-shot angle amid these mind-bending paradoxes.
