Alan Lucien Øyen is a writer, director, and choreographer from Norway and the current artist in residence at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet. After establishing Winter Guests, a dance company, in 2006, he created a number of pieces that toured 16 countries across the world. Particularly famous for combining choreography with breathtaking visuals, Øyen does a stellar job in creating imaginary worlds where illusion trumps reality. Invited to choreograph for the Paris Opera Ballet for the first time, Øyen is all set to bring his intense creativity that showcases his sense of drama and theater. Costume designer Stine Sjogren and set designer Alex Eales join Øyen in this venture with the Paris Opera to create an unforgettable ballet production.
