Adam was a phenomenal tour guide. One of the guides I have experienced. He had a depth of knowledge or Ile de Cite , St Chappelle all things surrounding French history. We learnt a ton in the few hours and that will stay with us long past the tour ! Thank You

Carol was an excellent tour guide. She was a good storyteller, explaining the history of Paris. She was also very kind--it started to rain heavily near the start time for our tour, and she waited for us while we dashed across the bridge to a souvenir shop to buy umbrellas.

Continue your exploration along the charming lanes of Place Dauphine, a historic square nestled at the western tip of Île de la Cité. Commissioned by King Henry IV in the early 17th century, this triangular square boasts a picturesque setting that beckons to be admired.

Sainte-Chapelle & Conciergerie

Learn about the transformation of the Conciergerie throughout history, from the Royal Palace to the Justice of the French monarch to the Revolutionary Tribunal. See the cell where Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned, among other famous prisoners during this time.

Just a few steps away is the 13th-century Sainte-Chapelle, a French Gothic chapel that has recently been restored. Your ticket also gives you access to this monument, which features more than 1,000 scenes from the Old and New Testaments.
